The Dual Drive's unique overrunning clutch allows the Ariel compressor to seamlessly switch between a low-emission electric motor and a natural gas engine with the flip of a switch. The clutch keeps spinning as one driver shuts down and the other starts up, which allows two drivers to connect to the same compressor and still operate independently.
